Sam Desalu, Celebrity Stylist, and Cedric Idudu of Afrika Fifty6<\/a> popped into Goldgenie’s London office during the week to have a look at our collections, including our 24ct Gold renditions of the iPhone 6. \u00a0Sam, who had just flown over from Los Angeles has worked with several stars from Hollywood and the music industry such as Tyrese Gibson and Jamie Fox. \u00a0Himself and his business partner Cedric Idudu, a consultant who has worked to raise funds for numerous charities such as the\u00a0Hosea Feed the Hungry, The Nature Conservancy, & Meals on Wheels Association of America, \u00a0recently co-founded Afrika Fifty6.<\/span><\/p>\n

Afrika Fifty6 is a non-profit organization that fuses together fashion, art and music to promote awareness and bring better living conditions to the children of Africa. \u00a0With a mission to improve the lives of people in all 56 countries in Africa, the social entrepreneurs behind the organisation organise fundraising events and collaborate with artists and designers to sell products through their online boutique<\/span><\/a>. The primary aim of Afrika Fifty6 is\u00a0to provide impoverished areas in Africa with the day to day essentials for a healthier lifestyle and raise awareness through the mediums of art, fashion, and music.\u00a0Read more about the initiative here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Goldgenie founder Laban Roomes, who was delighted to meet these charming and inspiring young men, said, \u00a0“I admire their enterprising spirit and it is even more admirable that these two men, who have so far enjoyed great success in their young careers in fashion and business have the initiative and drive to give something back. The pair are in town to raise awareness of their organisation at London Fashion Week and of course Desalu will be\u00a0attending the shows and showrooms, keeping an eye out for his clients.
