History of the 24k Gold iPhone: 2007 to 2022
Goldgenie were the first company to customise the iconic Apple iPhone in 24k Gold when first launched in 2007. The Goldgenie Luxury iPhone range now includes solid 18k Gold, Rose Gold, Platinum, Swarovski crystal and Diamond encrusted variations.

World’s Most Expensive Racing Bike
Goldgenie created the world’s most expensive racing bike which sold for $250,000 USD from our luxury Dubai retail store. The bike was customised in pure 24k Gold and purchased by a UAE resident Emirate. The sale was featured on Channel 5 “The World’s Most Expensive Presents”

1995 – In the beginning there was an idea
Goldgenie founder Laban Roomes using his prototype gold plating system he designed in 1995. Laban would carry this prototype on his back knocking on doors asking clients if they would like their bathroom taps or car emblems gold plated until he landed his first big deal with Lexus U.K.

The Goldgenie logo was created in 1995 by our in-house brand designer. Remit for the logo design was “We want to revolutionise the gold plating industry and sell our products to Harrods and Selfridges” Goldgenie achieved their goal as well as supplying luxury gifts to other Corporates such as The Emmys, Oscars and AMEX, plus a multitude of celebrities who use our services and products.

24k Gold Barbers’ Chair
Barber and Artist Faisal Abdu’Allah was commissioned by London-based arts charity Autograph ABP to create The Gold Barbers’ Chair and The Gold Barbers’ Clippers (2017) as a gallery installation, under the curatorial direction of Mark Sealy MBE. Sculptors grant and the Mayor of London Award for Sustainability, Abdu’Allah’s joint endeavour with Goldgenie stands to be one of his most talked about yet.
