The Goldgenie Segwheel – the optimal form of luxury summer transport

If you were out and about enjoying the sun in Knightsbridge or Hyde Park earlier this week, you might have caught a glimpse of talented uniwheeler Andy Greaves taking Goldgenie’s 24k Gold Embellished Segwheel for a spin. He makes it look easy as he glides along effortlessly circling pigeons as he navigates London’s most popular areas. The segwheel does take some practice to master and the key is to push off to gain momentum, in the same way that you would take off on a skateboard. Balance comes afterwards.

By leaning forward or backward, users can control the vehicle to go forward, accelerate, decelerate, brake or turn.  The left and right balance is similar to shifting direction on a bicycle by slanting slightly to the left or right and optional stabilisers will ensure you don’t lose your balance.  It is great fun to ride and once you master it, you are sure to turn heads as you glide about the city!

The Goldgenie segwheel is a top of the range electric uniwheel that can travel up to 18km/hr for 12km on a 45 minute charge. Meticulously embellished with over 5 microns of 24k Gold and finished with Gold Python skin, this one wheeled marvel is not only beautiful but is also a practical, efficient and eco-friendly way to travel about any urban landscape.
