Laban Roomes takes up the ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE!

 

 

So this morning we thought it would be a great idea to nominate our CEO Laban Roomes to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.  He shuddered at the idea at first but on reflection of the great cause, he needed no convincing.  So the next question… Who would HE nominate?  He decided to take revenge on the dragons who chose NOT to invest in his business back in 2007 when he went onto Dragons’ Den and so he would nominate FOUR, not three.  Duncan Bannantyne, Theo Paphitis, Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden… it’s your lucky day! James Caan, you made a wise business decision 7 years ago and have made a lucky escape! : )

We had great fun and congratulate Laban on his donation and great courage on this rather Autumnal day for August… He took the ice very well! The most important thing to remember is the great cause….

The ALS Association  leads the way in research, care services, public education, and public policy — giving help and hope to those facing ALS, which is a degenerative motor union disease which can cause paralysis and even death.
